National Parks and Monuments

Museum of Idaho

If you think you’ve seen it all at the Museum of Idaho but it has been a while since you were in, you may want to check again. The main areas feature rotating travel exhibits that bring next level collections to our local residents to enjoy.

The longer-term exhibition halls feature regional history and their recent acquisition of an archaeological-grade steel cabinet allows them to house the Wasden Collection with over 80,000 items that span 13,000 years.

VISIT THE FALLS

Known to locals as the Greenbelt, it is worth it to take the time to stroll along this five mile riverside trail located in central Idaho Falls with a beautiful view of the waterfalls and well maintained lawns. There are plenty of benches to rest and just enjoy the view.
